Stuffed Aloo Paratha


  • 5-6 boiled Potatoes
  • 2 finely chopped Onion (very small pieces)
  • Coriander leaves(Dhania Patra) finely chopped
  • Small piece of Ginger(aada) (very fine chopped or grated)
  • 2 or 3 green Chilies (finely chopped)
  • Salt – To Taste
  • Red Chili powder
  • Garam masala powder
  • Amchur powder
  • Butter
  • wheat flour (atta)


  • Make a dough with whole wheat flour (atta) with water.
  • Boil the potatoes and mash them perfectly.
  • Add finely chopped onions, coriander leaves,green chilies, finely chopped garlic, salt, garam masala and amchur to taste.
  • Mix well.
  • Now roll out the portion (with Pinroll/Belan) of the dough into a small chapati, spread a tsp. of oil evenly on it, place a portion of the potato mixture (like 2 spoons) in the centre of the chapati.
  • Gather the edges again and roll out it with Pinroll/Belan into 5-6 inches paratha.
  • On a hot griddle (tawa) roast both sides of the paratha with Ghee or Oil or Butter, till they get golden brown color.
  • Serve hot with curd or mint-coriander chutney or mango pickle.
