Chicken Fingers

  • Chicken breasts (boneless) - 4 (cut as finger shape) (ଚିକେନ)
  • soya sauce -1 tsp (ସୋୟା ଶସ୍)
  • vinegar - 1 tsp (ଭିନେଗାର୍)
  • Salt- to taste (ଲୁଣ)
  • black pepper -to taste (ଗୋଲ ମରିଚ)
  • Honey - 1tsp (ମହୁ)
  • tamato catchup - 2 tsp
  • maida - 1tsp (ମଇଦା)
  • cornflour - 1 tsp
  • Turmeric Powder - 1/2 tsp (ହଳଦୀ ଗୁଣ୍ଡ)
  • egg - 1(ଅଣ୍ଡା)
  • Cornflakes(crushed) - 1 cup 
  • Wash  the chicken breasts, then cut it as finger shape.
  • In a bowl put into chicken pieces and then add soya sauce, vinegar, salt, blackpepper, honey,tamato catchup.
  • mix well and set aside to marinate about 20 - 30 min.
  • After 20 min, add cornflour, maida, turmeric powder and egg. Mix well and keep aside.
  • Place the cornflakes in a plate,then crush it into small pieces.
  • Add 2 tsp maida, and mix well.
  • then dip chicken pieces into cornflakes mixture and press tightly.(make sure the mixture is well coated on the chicken pieces).
  • Heat oil in a kadai(medium flame), drop chicken pieces into the oil
  • Using a slotted laddle slowly turn the chicken pieces so that it gets cooked on all sides. 
  • When they turned golden brown and looks cooked,remove them out of the oil, drain the excess oil and place it in a kitchen tissue.
  • Serve hot with white sauce.
