Moong Dal ke Fingers (ମୁଗ ଡାଲି ପକୁଡି)

  • Split skinless green gram(Moong Dal) - 1 cup (ମୁଗ ଡାଲି)
  • Onion(finely chopped) -  1 medium (ପିଆଜ)
  • Coarinder Leaves(chopped) - 1 tsp (ଧନିଆ ପତ୍ର)
  • Salt - to taste (ଲୁଣ)
  • Garam Masala powder - 1/2 tsp (ଗରମ ମସଲା)
  • Red Chilli powder -  1/2 tsp
  • Chat Masala or Amchur Powder - 1/2 tsp (ଚାଟ ମସଲା)
  • Ginger(1 inch)- green chilli(2) paste -  1/2 tsp
  • Lemon Juice - 1 tsp (ଲେମ୍ବୁ ରସ)
  • Bread Crumbs - 1 1/2 cup
  • Oil - for deep frying (ତେଲ)
  • Saok moong dal in warm water overnight. Drain and keep a side.
  • In a bowl, mix together soaked split skinless green gram, Onion, Coarinder Leaves , salt, Garam masala powder, Red chilli powder, Chat Masala, Ginger - Green chilli paste and Lemon Juice.
  • mix well and press the mixture through back side of spoon,so that dal will be crushed.
  • Add the bread crumb and mix well by hand.
  • Divide the mixture into equal portions and shape them into fingers.
  • Heat Sufficient oil in a kadai and deep fry the fingers in batches of 3 -4 until crisp anad golden.
  • Drain on absorbent paper and serve hot with tamato sauce.
