Semiya upma is one of the regular breakfast in our kitchen.It can made of with and with out vegetables.I am sharing this recipe with Nuts like peanuts, cashew, almonds with little spicy and Chinese touch up.

Nuts Semiya Upma Recipe | Nuts Vermicelli Upma Recipe | Semiya Upma | ସେମିୟା ଉପମା | Handisaala Recipe:

Ingredients:

  • Semiya/Vermicelli - 1 cup
  • Peanuts - 3 tbsp
  • Cashew - 10
  • Almond slice - 10
  • Curry leaves - 2 sprig
  • Mustard seeds - 1 tsp
  • Dry chilli(broken) - 1
  • Green chilli(slit) - 2
  • Oil - 2 tbsp
  • Tomato sauce - 1 tbsp
  • Soya sauce - 2 tsp
  • Vinegar - 2 tsp
  • Onion slice - 1 medium
  • Water - 2 cup
  • Salt to taste

Method:

  • Heat the pan.
  • Dry roast the vermicelli and keep a side.
  • In the same pan heat oil.
  • Put peanuts, cashew & almond and stir it for 1 min on low flame.
  • Then add mustard seeds, dry chilli,green chilli & curry leaves and stir it.
  • Add Onion and saute it till onion became translucent.
  • Then add tomato sauce, soya sauce, vinegar and mix well.
  • Add water and mix well.
  • Let it boil.
  • Then add salt to taste.
  • Finally add roasted vermicelli and stir it on medium flame till semiya observed 3/4 of water.
  • Switch off the flame.Cover it for 5 mins.
  • Serve hot.
