Egg Curry(ଅଣ୍ଡା ତରକାରୀ)


  • Hard boiled eggs - 6(ଅଣ୍ଡା)
  • Cooking oil - 3-4(ତେଲ
  • Onion(chopped) - 2(ପିଆଜ)
  • Tomatos(finely paste) - 3 medium(ଟମାଟର)
  • Masala paste(Ginger - 1 inch,Garlic - 6-7 cloves,Onion - 1,jeera - 1 tsp)(ରସୁଣ,ଜିରା,ପିଆଜ,ଅଦା)
  • Garam masala - 1/2 tsp(ଗରମ ମସଲା
  • Chicken masala/curry masala - 1 tsp
  • Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp(ହଳଦୀ ଗୁଣ୍ଡ )
  • Red chilli powder - 1 tsp(ଲଙ୍କା ଗୁଣ୍ଡ)
  • Whole masala(1 bayleaf, Cinnamon - 1 inch, Cardamom - 2)(ତେଜ ପତ୍ର,ଗୁଜୁରାତି,ଡାଲଚିନି)
  • Salt to taste(ଲୁଣ) 
  • Chopped fresh coriander leaves to garnish
  • Boiled Potatos(cube size) - 2(optional)(ଆଳୁ


  • Heat 4 tbsps of the cooking oil in a deep pan and when hot, add boiled eggs and fry it till egg became light golden color and keep a side.
  • In the same pan put whole masala and saute it for a couple of minute.Then add chopped onion and fry it till light brown color.
  • Add masala paste and saute it for 5 mins.
  • Add tomato paste, salt, turmeric powder and chilly powder, mix it properly and cover it till masala is cooked properly(oil begins to separate from the masala).
  • Now add 2 cups of warm water to this masala and bring to a boil on a medium flame.
  • Then add boiled potato,eggs and chicken masala powder and let it be cook for 10 mins in a low flame.
  • Turn off the fire and garnish with chopped coriander leaves. Serve hot with rice.
