Egg Omlet Curry(ଅମ୍ଲେଟ ତରକାରି)


  • Tomatoes paste - 2 medium(ଟମାଟର)
  • Onion(chopped) - 1 medium(ପିଆଜ)
  • Eggs- 2(ଅଣ୍ଡା
  • Ginger Garlic Paste- 1 tbsp(ଅଦା ରସୁଣ ବଟା)
  • Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp(ହଳଦୀ ଗୁଣ୍ଡ )
  • Green chilli(chopped) - 2(ଲଙ୍କାମରିଚ)
  • Salt as taste(ଲୁଣ)
  • Red Chilly Powder- 1 tsp(ଲଙ୍କା ଗୁଣ୍ଡ)
  • Oil- 2 tbsp(ତେଲ)
  • Coriander Powder - 1/2 tsp(ଧନିଆ ଗୁଣ୍ଡ)
  • Gharam Masala- 1/2 tsp(ଗରମ ମସଲା)
  • Coriander Leaves(ଧନିଆ ପତ୍ର)


  • Beat 2 eggs with onions, green chillies and salt.
  • Heat a non-stick frying pan, add a little oil.  
  • Pour the mixture in to the pan.Let the eggs settle in the pan for 2 to 3 seconds.
  • When the eggs have formed a coagulated bottom or have become a little stiff, take a non-stack spatula and lift one side of the omelet.
  • With the spatula, slowly roll the end towards the omelet and keep rolling till you form a complete roulette with the entire omelet.
  • Let the omelet sit on the flame and keep turning till it attains a golden brown color on all sides. Be careful as not to overcook the egg, it should have a soft and creamy center.Cut the omlet roll into 3 pices.
  • Remove from pan and keep a side. 
  •  Add Oil to the same pan and add Onion and heat until it is gold brownish color
  • Add Ginger Garlic past, turmeric and tomatoes to onion mix in the pan
  • Now Add Salt, Red Chilly Powder and let tomatoes cook at medium heat
  • Add Coriander Powder, Gharam Masala and stir well.Put 1 cup boiled water into it.
  • Finally put omlet roll to the pan and cook for 5 mins till thickness of gravy came.
  • Add Coriander Leaves and serve hot with rice.
